Re: Action at Open-Mandriva again...

For what it's worth, while blackcrack's English grammar obviously isn't the greatest (maybe you could start make post in german, with a translate.google.com link for included, it would help out a lot?), and obviously he has quite a lot of frustration and temper built up which he often doesn't the be...

Re: Censorship in the OpenMandriva forums?

While the OpenMandriva Association was created in order to support, organize community and fund development, it was never meant to control the project. The project was already properly managed by experienced people, so OMA hijacking the project and taking full control of mailing lists and not adheri...

Re: Moondrake GNU/Linux 2014 1/2 Beta 3

Yeah, I've thought of using sourceforge, mirrtoring pther places etc., wadthinking of just using a metalink for it, at least when I have a new mirrorbrain in place to take care of all that..
will do so soon, just now my budget for hosting it isn't the greatest, but I'll get there again :)

Re: Moondrake GNU/Linux 2014 1/2 Beta 3

Here's an iso I've just finished preparing and working out some blocker kinks, yet I've had no time to test it and I'm going away for the weekend: http://folk.uio.no/peroka/moondrake/beta/moondrake-gnu-linux-2014.5-beta-sporadic-erratic-x86_64-dvd.iso It uses a newer kernel that'll also work under v...

Re: Moondrake GNU/Linux 2014 1/2 Beta 3

Ok I'll dive into it. Meanwhile I have found/made an avatar for you: :A http://i.imgur.com/QxlqRkH.png And the "flash problem" is only an example of what I cannot install due to the repo problem... Updated and fired drakrpm - it does not seem to crash anymore... :s fixed! That python depe...

Re: Moondrake GNU/Linux 2014 1/2 Beta 3

the python-lxml error seems a bit strange as it's a unversioned dependency which according to my querying of 2014.0 repos should be found in the main repo, so that's really strange... I've backported a newer (3.2.4 vs 3.2.1) to the mdk_personal repo, not sure if it makes any difference, as from the ...

I've just pushed an updated release of rpmdrake which I *think* should fix your issue. :)

Re: Moondrake GNU/Linux 2014 1/2 Beta 3

A bit tedious right now, I'm not sure whether I merged the openmandriva's list of the old mirrorlist implementation to urpmi or not, as I previously had deprecated it in favour of a mirrorbrain instance, but as it was running on a VPS paid by through paypal and my account got suspended because some...

Re: Moondrake GNU/Linux 2014 1/2 Beta 3

I managed to wipe out my /home last friday right after my last post, so priorities shifted a little.. But at least update versions of drakconf & drakxtools which should fix drakconf has been pushed to mdk_personal repo. Otherwise I've become aware of that the 3.14.6 kernel that was shipped with ...

Re: Moondrake GNU/Linux 2014 1/2 Beta 3 KDE install

The KDE install went through. There was a protest regarding Libre office script yeah, blame openmandriva, it's a package from their repos.. :p But yeah, I'll probably rebuild a new version with the scriptlet fixed later. :) but I OK'ed it and booted into good old kdm: http://i.imgur.com/kcKNQpdl.jp...

Re: Moondrake GNU/Linux 2014 1/2 Beta 3

FWIW, I initially didn't upload the cd isos, as they're really meant to be that just one dual arch iso, which I've not given much attention at all for quite a while... I only generated two separate isos by request for someone, so it's really not a recommendation of mine for testing... Go with the dv...
