Re: what do you think about systemd-free distros ?

I kind of liked their approach and I certainly was skeptic about privacy regarding systemd so I made a video they could use (it is in the Artix forum somewhere). https://youtu.be/89DmBAqu78Y?list=LL I like Artix but I have stayed somewhat closer to the new Arch way. Found the video in the Artix foru...

Re: Nvidia seeks peace with Linux

Well yes but that market thing is complex. Linux is developed by everybody and Windows by the few. Clearly Linux is more sophisticated. Supercomputers tell us so.... I am the market and I am not happy with my Nvidia Geforce GTX not working anymore on Linux. Well it still works on Ubuntu and I could ...

Re: Nvidia seeks peace with Linux

Yes it can be built manually but will only work up to kernel 5.4 So thank you for that Nvidia..again. :berserk2 http://cdn....

"Criminals trust in encryptet comunication is misplaced"

The chief of the Australian Federal Police (AFP) was one of many police representatives very proud of the internationally coordinated efforts to stop organized crime. Operation Trojan Horse; as it is called by the FBI has enabled Europol, FBI and AFP to monitor enrcypted communication for a long tim...

Re: The Death of Centos Linux?

I am not sure I like this at all. Looks like the " One server to rule them all" policy. Centralizing and Streaming from that great evil server controlled by Sauron...... :C

Re: Goodbye CentOS, hello Rocky Linux

Ah feels good to be missed :) I have been killing spammers here all the time so I have been in the shadows. I have grown fat and gotten Diabetes so I have taken up tennis again because I have to train to keep it down. Linux wise I have been happy with Manjaro but at the moment Nvidia is pissing me o...
