Re: PPTP connectivity problem

Could be a UDP block. To bypass all this you can install zerotier-one and create a peer to peer like connection to any PC anywhere in the world. Re: Manjaro/Arch - Octopi will not fire.

I think Octopi is just fine especially if you are using QT5. But it is different from Pamac so a compare is not really "fair".
In Norwegian the Octopi translation is so much better than Pamac so that allone is reason to use it here.

Re: Mageia 7 released

Yes MandrakeMandriva was really the Distro back in the day. The first distros I heard about were RedHat and Mandrake. If you were new to Linux you could forget about Redhat leaving only Mandrake. That is how important this distro was +1 Mageia is close with this one but it is clear that the capacity...

Re: NordVPN- Fastest VPN for Torrenting

Just a heads up on Nord VPN. It will disable your UFW (firewall) when activated. So this is not a problem when you use NordVPN because you do not need the firewall then. The Firewall will be restored with its normal settings when you do not use VPN...BUT it requires you to restore your firewall afte...

Apple is recording and sharing your voice

No shocking news there...or wait.... it seems that the world now has discovered that it is not acceptable to let Apple record your sex activity and share it with third parties. As always when the tech companies are caught spying they play the "trust us" card: Only trustworthy employees und...

After firing it up I got the usual questions about language and location and I chose nb. This has given me a...

Re: Pocket Net (Open Source Social Network)

Looks good I like the encryption part during registration. They seem to take privacy seriously.
They do however take your canvas fingerprint which makes tracking you a breeze anyway .. so I dunno. :confused
