Re: Pocket Net (Open Source Social Network)

Looks good I like the encryption part during registration. They seem to take privacy seriously.
They do however take your canvas fingerprint which makes tracking you a breeze anyway .. so I dunno. :confused

Re: Possible handover of Assange to UK may be imminent

Yeah The NSA want the exclusivity to inform the government so they can choose the angel. People like Assange really messed that up...by reporting the truth, the whole truth...etc So the "problem" is not that Wikileaks has been untruthful - the problem is quite the opposite. So the issue is...

Re: Possible handover of Assange to UK may be imminent

Yeah They must have used my rescue disk :berserkf There is a lot of Linux "special software there"

It is rather common for people to believe that when you use Linux then you are almost criminal ...Microsoft and the agencies are not going to set that straight...

Re: Possible handover of Assange to UK may be imminent

Assange may not be the most charming guy but I fail to see what laws he has broken. That leaves the question - Why is he arrested at all? He is not convicted of anything he is accused of rape clearly managed by PO agencies. The rest is Journalism aka Telling what the government does not want told,.....

Re: Really want to learn some Linux? New Arch.iso is out

Well Manjaro is the top dog on Distrowatch these days and it is an Arch derivative that is very user friendly. I use it and it is rock solid. You can have all DE's and they are all good.. 'cept Gnome3 of course... Well there are people that like it but they just fubared after the very good Gnome2. T...

Re: Game of Thrones seaosn 8

Should be possible with a browserbased VPN that has a UK server. Zenmate is a chrome plugin that has this. Next you need an app to see HBO in your browser (this is available in the Nordic countries and probably everywhere else). Then it is a matter of casting it to your smart TV or buy Chromecast an...

Re: Win 8 and 10 are more insecure than Win 7

The problem for Tinhat people is that your ISP can see everything you browse and send it to the NSA or whomever. The speed and convenience of it is always preferred above privacy. That is a dangerous development..... The DNS traffic is in plain text and needs to be encrypted this can be done by VPN ...
