Journalist with Google glasses "attacked"

Postby viking60 » 15 Apr 2014, 00:19

In San Francisco Google is present everywhere - they even have their own Buses.
Now a journalist has been attacked by a woman who toke the glasses from his nose and destroyed them.
The guy does not understand much of it - but they way she shouted "Glass" and they way in which she destroyed his Glass gave him the impression that the destruction of his Google Glass was her intention:

A real genius there...

Whenever will people stop to invade the privacy of Google Glass wearers?

What she could do instead is to put a camera in their face and film them as much as she likes and take their picture. And publish it all on a hall of shame or "be aware of these Glassholes" site.
Every Google Glass wearer should have his own Paparazzi - they should have no problem with it..
That would be the legal way to go about it - since the Google Glass seems to be legal.

It is great for work and documentation - so is a microscope. Taking it to nightclubs or to the streets is rude IMO.
Can't a guy get drunk and make a fool of himself anymore - without being published on Youtube the next day? Bars and clubs who allow those Google Glasses should have closed sections where all those Google Glass people can spy on each other - and they will have to take the Glasses of when they mingle with normal people.

People who like to know when they are filmed - and where the stuff will be published. If I do not want somebody to take my picture I should be able to deny them to do so.

Pictures of the groom puking in a ditch (outside a strip club) after a bachelor party - may have some negative effects on the following marriage....
I bet he would like to have that as a private moment as millions of bachelors before him - in the pre Glasshole era.
