Yup that is how it goes.
Manjaro 64bit on the main box -Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz and nVidia Corporation GT200b [GeForce GTX 275] (rev a1. + Centos on the server - Arch on the laptop.

FYI R_Head, I don't think I qualify for Systems Admin there - see here - it's not updated yet though with my current address or very last job (not sure what to do about the last job; long story). Systems admin normally requires a bachelor's and I don't got. Anyone who sees anything that they think I can do and would be qualified for, in particular here in the states or over England or Scotland way, feel free to pass it 'round, and I'll even update it.

Great resume is pretty short and sweet.
I was more into the data center thing than system admin.
They are also outsourcing the IT Dept to local contractors.
