Our very own Eduard Khil the all time favorite songwriter and singer has passed away.

I can truly say that no artist on the planet has made such an impact here as Eduard Khil's catchy trollolollolo. And he is without a doubt the most influential artist that ever came from the old Soviet union.

Look at it this way: Who else has put a bigger smile on your face than Eduard? Right! no one!
He will probably be driving someones GF in heaven mad - right about now.
Even in this hour he puts a smile on my face when I visit his website
That is a great gift and that is why we all are sad today.

This all seems strange to me. Very very strange. Possibly because on Sunday, Richard Dawson died, and today Ray Bradbury died.

I'm finding myself having some very WTF moments these days. Seems everyone's dying. This is the first year I've seen where we were reading pages like this before February! Then this one. Then others in-between.

Or, maybe it's just that I found Eduard Khil, a tad bit... "strange."

Well just to inform you. We are all going to die (that is not so strange).

Yeah, but we're not celebrities and wonderfully nostalgic people all dying inside of 6 months, either.

Seriously, if it were us, what would be the odds that we would?

What were the odds that all the great people who have died this year, would do it in 6 (6 now, I guess) months? All of them?

Seriously, I have not seen this bad of a year for this in my lifetime.
