Google Street View controversy takes a bizarre twist

The controversy surrounding Google Street View in Germany has taken a bizarre turn, less than one week after the online mapping service was launched.

Two images - one of an apparently naked man sitting in the back of his car, and another of a fake birth on the side of the road - have been the subject of frenzied online speculation, as anti-privacy vandals pelted the homes of Germans who opted out of the service.

This is an easy one:
The husband came home somewhat early, and he had to jump out of the bedroom window and hide in the trunk of the car.
This surveillance thing is dirty. In the good old days you could have a mistress without having to show your wiener to the world.

What I don't understand about this article is how, this "pelting" of houses for people opting out relates to the images the article includes. The article wasn't clear on that, maybe I misunderstand...
