Of course not. Nope.
I'm going to have to go down the same road I went with the Qualcomm. I just don't have the energy or will to do it again, and don't think I should have to, when devs and maintainers are just being lazy about it.
Don't you think that over a year without this particular driver, as common as it is, is unconscienable? They know damn good and well they need it. They just don't want to do it because they've been f*cked over so much by RealTek with buggy stuff.
I say get the hell over it and do your damn job, people.
I also have to wonder why true Linux devs can't write their own f*cking driver for this. What are they waiting on RealTek for?
There is no imagination in Linux any more. I've said this many a time. It is still, after about 15 years of this b.s., "wait for Windows to do it!"
There are a couple of people picking at this driver, but they always land with a component of it not working, because they are *just* picking at it.
Sorry, had to vent.

Sounds silly, but, what about a Wireless R45 Adapter? I use one for my Security CCTV. Works fine and does not drop. Is a little dongle with an RJ45 connector.

I shouldn't have to.
I think I'm going to try something different altogether. Zorin OS

First entry in Google search link: not listed. As I said, they don't have the driver for Linux right now for this thing.
Last link, it's listed, but I have to establish a connection to get it going, and I have no way to do that, and will not jump through hoops to do it, to find the driver is outdated or not there (which there is a high probability of). Again, they do not have this driver for Linux right now. They haven't had it for over a year.

Anyone that can help work on this project, please? I would appreciate you more than you know. I am years out of coding practice, but can help with testing, etc. Thanks so much! :love

P.S.: This was not marked as solved! That was a mistake! How do I undo it? Never mind, found it.

If you're in Networking, doesn't that place you in the IT arena?

Well, if you are a doc in Pediatrics, does not qualify you as Neurologist. Same in a Aviation, an Aircraft Mechanic is not an Aircraft Fabricator and vis versa. The only part networking goes in the hardware weeds is buy a NIC and install a driver, beyond that, is all magic

The IT I used to know is about 10 years old when I was in the Military. I could go back to IT but there is hardly any money in it, long hours, hateful/jealous people.

In the way life directed me, I am notorious for jumping on an unk arena and learn on the fly. I just build a Chicken Coop and I am not carpenter.
