I think I prefer the good old solid Centos since that is what I use for my server. But then again I dunno enough about the alternative to be sure

Well in some way Microsoft has to work with Linux. Windows has been pretty much inferior all along. So I do agre with Microsoft here; You cannot run a server with Windows.
